  1. What type of gift cards can I buy?
    At Adairs Australia, you can purchase both Physical and eGift Cards. Please note that conditions and exclusions apply, refer to the Adairs Gift Card Terms of Use for details.

    New Zealand customers can purchase Physical Gift Cards at Adairs stores in New Zealand.

  2. What is the difference between an eGift card and Physical gift cards?
    Physical gift cards are currently only available for purchase in-store. They can be redeemed at any Adairs, Adairs Kids and Home Republic retail stores in Australia and online at www.adairs.com.au.

    eGift cards are sent directly to the email address nominated by you and include a pin number for redemption. eGift cards can be redeemed at any Adairs, Adairs Kids and Home Republic retail stores in Australia and online at www.adairs.com.au. They can be printed or scanned from a mobile device for in-store redemption.

    New Zealand customers are unable to purchase or redeem eGift cards at this point in time.

  3. How many gift cards can I purchase?
    You can purchase up to 10 eGift cards online at a time. However, the total combined value of the gift cards cannot exceed $1000.

  4. What amount can I load onto my gift card(s)?
    You must load a minimum of $5 to each eGift card in your online order. The total combined value of all eGift cards cannot exceed $1,000.

  5. How can I order a Physical gift card and will it be sent to me?
    Physical gift cards can only be purchased and picked up from a retail store. They are not able to be purchased online and/or delivered to you.

  6. What happens if I’ve entered the wrong email address when purchasing an eGift card?
    Please be careful when entering in the recipient’s email address!

    It is the purchaser’s sole responsibility to ensure this information is correct. If you have made an error, we cannot guarantee that your eGift card will be delivered to the intended recipient. Any eGift cards not delivered or delivered to the wrong email address, due to a purchaser’s error, will not be replaced or refunded.

  7. When will I receive my eGift card?
    eGift cards will be emailed once your order has been processed and approved. They are typically received within an hour but can sometimes take longer if they need to be reviewed. Remember to check your email spam or junk folders.

  8. I purchased a gift card in-store. Can I use this to purchase goods online?
    Yes, our physical gift cards can be redeemed in-store and online.

  9. What happens if my gift card is lost, stolen or damaged?
    Gift cards must be treated like cash and cannot be replaced or refunded.

  10. Will my gift card expire?
    Adairs gift cards will be valid for use for 36 months from the date of issue (or as otherwise stated by us).

  11. Can I cancel my order?
    Once we have received your order they cannot be cancelled unless required by law.

  12. What happens if I haven’t used the full value of my gift card before the expiry date?
    It is up to you to use the card’s full value before the expiry date. Any unused balance will not be refunded or credited when the card expires.

  13. Can I top up the value of gift card?
    Gift cards cannot be reloaded or topped up. You will need to purchase a new gift card.

  14. Do I have to use my gift card all at once?
    No, you can use your gift cards partially or in full. It is up to you to use the full value before the expiry date. If your purchase exceeds the available card balance, you will be required to make up the difference with another payment method.

  15. Can I use a gift card to purchase another gift card?
    No, gift cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards.

  16. How can I check the balance of my gift card?
    You can check the balance of both your physical and eGift cards online, or our customer service team can help you out! Feel free to email us at info@adairs.com.au or call 1300 783 005 Monday - Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm AEST.

  17. What if my order total is more than my gift card amount?
    If your purchase exceeds the available card balance, you will be required to make up the difference with another payment method.

  18. Can I redeem my gift card for cash?
    Gift cards are not redeemable for cash or payments of credit or retailer accounts.

  19. Can I use my Adairs gift card in an Adairs Kids store?
    Adairs, Adairs Kids, & Urban Home Republic gift cards can all be redeemed in any of the afore-mentioned stores, and the Adairs Australia online store.

  20. Can I choose the gift card design?
    Yes, there are many gift cards designs available both in-store and online.

  21. Can I add a message to the eGift card?
    Yes, you can create a custom message. For eGift cards the message will be displayed on the eGift card emailed to the recipient.
