WHERE CAN I PURCHASE A DAVID JONES GIFT CARD?

There are four convenient ways to purchase David Jones Gift Cards:

Instore – Purchase physical Gift Cards at any counter in any David Jones store in Australia or New Zealand.

Online – Purchase eGift Cards and receive instant delivery via email.

Corporate Services – – Our Corporate Services Team assists companies and organisations who would like to make bulk purchases of Gift Cards or eGift Cards for incentives, loyalty programs or rewards. Third Party Retailers – Classic David Jones Gift Cards can be purchased at selected Woolworths, Australia Post, Big W and other third-party retailers. Only available for purchase and use in Australia.

WHAT AMOUNTS CAN I PURCHASE ON A DAVID JONES GIFT CARD?

Instore – David Jones Classic Gift Cards can be purchased for any nominated amount between $5 and $4,999

Online – David Jones eGift Cards are available to purchase in any denomination between $5 and $500 in either AUD or NZD and are sent via email.

Corporate Services - - David Jones Classic Gift Cards can be purchased through Corporate Services and are delivered via Australia Post. eGift Cards are available for purchase and can be issued as a downloadable CSV file or sent direct to multiple recipients. Gift Cards can be loaded with any nominated amount between $5 and $4,999 in AUD or NZD

Third Party Retailers – David Jones Classic Gift Cards can be purchased at selected third party retailers in set denominations of $50, $100 and $200. Only available for purchase and use in Australia.

HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY CORPORATE PHYSICAL GIFT CARD ORDER?

You can activate physical Gift Cards ordered through Corporate Services at corporategiftcards.davidjones.com/au/activate-order and enter your Shipping Order ID and Activation Code which is found in your Shipping Confirmation email that was sent when your order was dispatched.

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD MY CORPORATE EGIFT CARD ORDER?

Once payment has been processed, you will receive an email directing you to download your eCertificate file. Click the link in the email which will direct you to the David Jones Corporate Services order portal. From the dropdown box under ‘Send eGift Card’ select ‘Download Purchased Orders.’ Enter your Checkout Order ID (contained in the email) and click ‘Generate eCert File’. Your Checkout Order ID will be verified and you will then be able to download your eCertificate file. All eGift Cards are active once the file has been downloaded. This file will contain URL links for each eGift Card along with the value, PIN and expiry date.

WHERE CAN I USE MY GIFT CARD?

Australian Gift Cards in AUD can be used to shop in Australian David Jones stores and online at www.davidjones.com.

New Zealand Gift Cards in NZD can be used to shop at David Jones’ Newmarket store in New Zealand.

WHEN WILL MY GIFT CARD EXPIRE?

David Jones Australian Classic and eGift Cards expire 36 months from the date of purchase.

David Jones New Zealand Classic and eGift Cards expire 24 months from the date of purchase.

Promotional and David Jones Rewards Gift Cards expire one month after the date of issue.

Returns Gift Cards expire 36 months from the date of issue.

HOW DO I KNOW HOW MUCH I HAVE LEFT TO SPEND ON MY GIFT CARD?

Your Gift Card balance is included in your proof of purchase every time you use your Gift Card. If you are in store, you can check your Gift Card balance at any register within the country of issue. If you are shopping with your AUD Gift Card online, your balance will be verified when you enter your Gift Card number and PIN during checkout. Once your online order is complete, the order confirmation screen will show the remaining balance of your Gift Card. You can also check your balance by visiting www.davidjones.com/david-jones-cards/gift-card-balance and entering your Gift Card number and PIN.

CAN I CHOSE HOW MUCH I WANT TO USE FROM MY GIFT CARD, INSURANCE CARD OR CELEBRATION CARD?

You can choose how much you want to use from your Gift Card, Insurance Card or Celebration Card when you are shopping instore. Please let the team member know before they process your transaction. When shopping online the total balance of your Gift Card will be applied to the order purchase and will be deducted from your Gift Card.

If you have any issues with activation of a David Jones Gift Card purchased through a third party retailer, please contact the third party retailer directly.

CAN I RECEIVE A REFUND FOR MY GIFT CARD?

No, Gift Cards are non-refundable.

CAN I GET MY GIFT CARD REPLACED IF IT’S LOST OR STOLEN?

No, you must treat your David Jones Gift Cards like cash.
